Closet cleaning....

I have been working on reorganizing. I have decided I either have a lot of closets or to much stuff. I started with Our walk in closet. Four hours later I emerged. My sister and niece are usually very excited when they find out that I have been cleaning out my closet. Out with the old in with the new! I then moved on to changing Erik's old bedroom closet and turned it into my "Fall/Winter" closet. By this time, I was told by my daughter if I need another closet for my overflow clothes then I might have to much! Never! I didn't take up the whole closet, some of the closet is set aside for the grand kids blankets/movies/etc...since this closet is now in their play room. Moving on to Aaron's old bedroom closet. It turned into Kevin's overflow closet. It now holds all of his hunting clothes, winter clothes and his dress clothes. Yes, he took the whole closet! Then down to the hall linen closet/medicine closet. Threw out all the old meds and old linens. Turned the exercise closet into my extra bedding/extra towel closet. And ended with the cleaning and reorganizing of the guest room closet. WOW !

Feels great to start getting organized. Kind of spring cleaning without the sunshine of spring...rain. ;0)

O.K. everyone that knows me, knows that I love Tom Cruise. I am so excited for his next movie...Knight and Day.

Here is the trailer for the new movie...I'll be there on opening night! Thank goodness I have such an understanding husband that loves the movies and will take me! Love that man! (that is Kevin the husband!)

Wedding update....

Went wedding dress shopping today down in Tigard and Beaverton. Peep, Penelope, Emory, Zella and I went to quite a few bridal shops and we were successful at the last shop! As Emory pointed out, Peep did not want to go to this bridal shop and she did not want a long dress...well now we know she really wants just the opposite! We found the perfect dress at our last stop of the day! Nicole Mae is going to look BEAUTIFUL!!!

Also, we got the D.J. book for the wedding. I suggested that they play big band music and Peep said no way for some reason! Regardless of what they play, I am sure we will be kicking up our heels. With bells on as my mom would say!

Grandbaby #11.....

She's here! Zella Raelynn arrive May 7th at 8:43 a.m. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 10 ozs. 20 1/2" long. Emory is did an amazing job! Very quick from start to finish. First pains about 11:00 p.m., pushing at 8:30 a.m. and three pushes later she arrived! I once again had the great privilege to be right in the room watching my Granddaughter being born. What a lucky Grandma I am!

THE BIG DAY

Wedding planning is in full swing. Check out the wedding tick counter on the right side of my blog for the count down! This is our third wedding to plan in full and our fifth wedding overall. Peep and I got the invitations ordered today. They are going to be beautiful. YEA! We got the votive candles ordered today. YEA! Starting to make progress on the full list. Above are a couple of our inspiration pics that Peep has picked out.

We have lots of planning and decisions left to go. We will get there and we will have a lot of fun and laughs along the way.
