What a week....

What can I say...what a week. A lot of laughs, an engagement, a few would you "SHUT UP's", good food, sunshine, pool time, beach time, zip line, shopping, and fishing.

It always amazes me how my kids have really become adults and can actually get along and conduct a conversation. I say this because there were definate times when they were growing up, I thought they would kill each other. Oh, if looks could kill sometimes! While they were growing up, I dreamed of them marrying and finding the perfect wife or husband that would fit into this crazy group. Boy were Kevin and I lucky to get two great "daughter's" that I love emmensly and one soon to be great "son"! I keep thinking of the old commercial with the bulldog saying "lucky dog lucky dog" over and over again! That is how I feel.

Kevin and I went for a nice drive up to Punta de Mita yesterday morning. It was a beautiful drive. There has been some changes with new buildings and new paint on buildings that is fun to see. Stopped back by the La Cruz Marina for lunch and drinks and relaxed in the sky lounge over looking the ocean. What a beautiful marina. They have made many changes and keep adding to the marina.

Not sure what today will bring ~ sunshine, pool, drive? What a wonderful way to destress! Oh ~ lucky dog lucky dog lucky dog!

Great day down town at Senor Frogs! Lots of laughs and many OH NO's!

Sunshine.....

We have arrived in the land of sunshine! We had a long day yesterday. Up at 3:00 out the door in the shuttle by 4:15. PDX - LAX- good flight. Lunch and drinks at LAX then off to PVR!

Good day today. Grocery shopping for the tribe at the Mega Food store. No Safeway.com down here. But it is a lot more interesting shopping down in PVR. You never know what you are getting sometimes. Pool time then bbq time.

Good day with the kids.

Everyone except Emory and I are going to go to the jungle tomorrow to go zip lining. Em and I are having pool time. ;)

Busy Busy Busy........

Busy is the word....Worded in Marcus's classroom today, watched Brooklyn, Brayden and Fiona, little housework and then Bunco.

Only one more day and then we are off on our family vacay! It is going to be an adventure. We have lots planned. Hopefully we have enough time to get it all in.

Getting really really really tired of this rain. It is way to cold out and windy. Sunshine her I come!

Happy 50th Anniversary to Pa and Ma

Happy 50Th Anniversary to two amazing parents! Wow ! They have been such a great example to both Kevin and I and the rest of the family. It is so rare that you see people married for 50 years anymore. Kevin and I have both been blessed to have both of our sets of parents celebrate 50 years of marriage.

Oh Grandma I Love You.....

Marcus Gary says, "Oh Grandma I Love You" ...music to my ears! Even if he is sucking up to Grandma! Had my boys today and my Sydney Lee. Great day, errands, lunch, naps, swing time and star wars time. Loving the non rain day for the kids to get out and stretch their legs and climb and play.

Kev did another amazing job bbqing tonight. My belly is full and I am headed to soak in the tub. Still a little sore from the fall. Hoping tomorrow is doing to be better.

Up and down....

Yep I was up one minute and down the next! What a morning. I slipped and fell down our living room stairs this morning and busted my butt and hurt my shoulder. Thank goodness Kevin was home and came running. I think I might have scared the heck out of him. He put a pillow under my head as I was laying on the floor and kept rubbing my back asking me if I was o.k. as I was laying there crying like a baby. Now I have one big bruise on my butt! And a sore shoulder and achy body. What a day.

Highlight of the day, I went down to Mom's house today and had lunch with Mom, Peep, and Penelope. We all had a good visit and Mom got her hair done.

Going to be a hot bath tonight!
