Rain rain go away....
Dear Mother Nature,
Rain, liquid precipitation, liquid sunshine, whatever anyone wants to call it, I have had enough!
I realize the wonderful benefits of rain, the green foliage, the beautiful flowers but come on Mr. Sunshine!
Mother, we are ready for your change of seasons.
We have been patiently waiting. Our patience is growing thin. Above is a picture of what I am looking for from you (in case you have forgotten what it looks like).
Think about it O.K.?
Sun lover,
Tracie

Celebrating and Remembering......
Today is a day for Celebration...or is it? I have mixed emotions on this day. My Grandson, Marcus Gary was born on this day six years ago. It was also my Dad's birthday. I think God gave us Marcus today so we have something to celebrate. Or was it my Dad's planning? He planned for everything.
I can still remember the look on my Dad's face as he paced the waiting room for his new Great-Grandson telling us "I told Steph she was going to have the baby today" with that grin that he got when he thought he was so right. He was very proud of Marcus. They had a special bond from the beginning.
My list of misses......
I miss his smile.
I miss his hugs.
I miss his "wearing your favorite color Trace" (red).
I miss his smell.
I miss his whiskery face when he kissed my cheek.
I miss him coming up for bbq's.
I miss him stopping by after work.
I miss camping with him.
I miss his HUGE campfires.
I miss his calls.
I miss his cluck cluck's.
I miss his pep talks.
I miss his Indian tricks.
I miss his nicknames.
I miss his advice.
I miss his planning.
I miss going to dinner.
I miss just his looks he use to give me.
I JUST MISS HIM WITH ALL MY HEART!
LOVE YOU DAD!

Twin's Birthday
Another year has passed ~ Austin Wade and Gage Ray turned 5 today! It seems like just yesterday that Steph came to my cheer practice so excited to tell me she was having twins. A day that I will never forget.
Grandma GG and I took the boys to town today and had lunch at the DQ and then to the movie "How To Train Your Dragon 3D". We shared popcorn and candy, Grandma GG was a good girl and had no popcorn or candy, and loved the movie.
Steph and I fixed the boys their favorite for dinner, french toast and sausage. If you have ever heard Austin say sausage you would be smiling. Steph gave the twins Star Wars Lightsavers. Two pretty excited boys! Big party on Sunday for the twins and Marcus Gary also, who will be 6 on the 13th.
I so enjoy my grandma days. I am really blessed! Lucky dog!

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs ......
Oh what a fun time! I forgot how much fun it was to dye eggs with kids. I use to love to dye eggs with my kids. All the spills, the "Oh look at this one!", laughter and smiles. What fun! So happy Stephanie volunteered Grandma's house to hold the egg event.
It went surprisingly well. Brooklyn had a ball and kept asking for more and saying "pretty"! She had quite the colorful hand when we finished. Her mom was wondering how she was going to get it off before Easter Sunday. She thought it might not go with her Easter dress. I told her it was a nice accessory to the dress! ;)
Hunter and Jaycee made half and half eggs. Marcus, Austin and Gage all tried putting designs on theirs with the wax crayon.
Now to wait for the big hunt on Easter Sunday. Oh what fun we are going to have this year!
